During november 2020 I had a school project involving a complete character design creation. While I already had created characters before this was the first time on a character-focused school project.
We had two weeks to draw 1 or 2 research boards, a turn around, posing boards and then a full graphic treatment.

This is a project I really enjoyed because it allowed me to display my creative process throughout its different stages. I started with the thumbnail, imagining different silhouettes of different characters monochromatically. Then I went on to choose one of them and from it came this character. Later the turnaround allowed me to pick his colors and finalise his design. Thanks to the posing stage I was able to express his personality through the use of body language and finally to stage him in the graphic treatment in a particular setting of my choice (here a dreamlike world).
